Is a NCCA Cleaning member certificate issued for members?
Your certificate will display both your membership and certificate number and clients and tender RFP’s can easily search the NCCA membership database, confirming your membership.
Will the branch accept cash payments?
All payments are accepted via EFT.
Can the company pay for membership before the application form has been processed ?
A payment is only requested once the membership form has been processed and an invoice sent to the contact person of the company.
How long does it take to process the new application forms?
The process generally takes 5-7 working days.
I have just formed a cc cleaning company, but need some guidance as I have not been in the Industry before?
For persons new to the Industry it is advisable to go on a few short training courses comprising:
Basic Business Skills – if no experience of running a business before.
Estimating and Tendering.
Knowledge of equipment used.
Knowledge of chemicals used.
Contact the appropriate regional branch Secretary for information on accredited providers of the above courses.
What is the cost of being a member of the NCCA?
As each regional branch is autonomous, the cost varies from region to region. Refer to the Secretary of each region for this information.
What is the average rate per square metre for cleaning a building?
There is no average rate. Numerous criteria needs to be accounted for in the cleaning process, per square meter, including but not limited to; frequency of cleaning, surface types above the floor, floor surface types, maintenance cleaning or deep or occasional cleaning, are areas easily accessible or is extra equipment needed etc

Who is eligible to become a member of the NCCA?
The Association has two categories of membership, namely:
A contractor member being a bona fide cleaning contractor, and
A supplier member being a bona fide supplier to the Industry of equipment, chemicals, consumables, or any other organisation that provides allied services to the Industry.
